histroy about kente from Ghana

Kente cloth is a fabrics which is manufactured in Ghana but originated by the Ashanti people in a village called Bonwire in Kumasi. the cloth was discovered by two brother named Kurugu and Ameyaw who were hunters.one day the brothers on their way to hunting saw a spider spinning a web. they stood somewhere and watched the spider as it spin its web the brothers after watching the art went back home and set a tread together with a wooden stick and begun to weave as they got designs from the piece of work.they made the first cloth out of black and white fibers from a raffia tree.                                                        Now Bonwire town is well known for best kente cloth in Ghana.
